Worlding Feminist Solidarity Economies Series: Ubuntu And African Origins In The Social Economy

When? Tuesday 20 September 2022, 6pm – 8pm
Where? Online via Zoom
Members of The DISE Collective have come together for this series to speak on a wide range of issues faced by excluded groups in the Global North and Global South. These communities seek refuge in the solidarity and social economy ecosystems due to systemic racism, casteism and business exclusion. The DISE members seek to cast light on issues and communities rarely included in modern academic research and publications.
The first event, Ubuntu and the Social Economy, is with Professor Haddy Njie and Professor Mary Njerie Kinyanjui. We are targeting students and activists interesting in all things feminist in the political economy. All scholars, students, the public and activists are invited. It’s free and fun!
Join us on Zoom using the information in the poster!
