This week we brought together the squares contributed to our Make Your Mark craftivism project and turned them into a pair of banners, which we introduced to several Glasgow landmarks ahead of today’s local Council elections!
The squares have been made by people all over Glasgow, who were asked to show in fabric how they feel about living in the city. Some squares highlight the call to action for combating the climate emergency – others point towards Glasgow’s public transport and infrastructure.
The Council like to tell us that People Make Glasgow, but they don’t always like to hear our voices. Today at least, we know they’re listening!
The People Who Make Glasgow know that we deserve a brighter, fairer, safer city for everyone.
Good luck today, Glasgow.
